Thursday was an open testing day for the Trans-Am Drivers. Here a little work was done on a new nose for the Jaguar

Here Johnny is off line and preparing to pit during the first lap of Friday morning practice. The problem turned out to be a defective harmonic balancer which caused steering rack problems. Johnny was done for the session.

Race day started out with a LARGE group of enthusiastic fans from Eaton Cutler-Hammer. They visited the Rocketsports tent while Johnny talked about the #64 Jaguar.

Don Miller was chosen as this weeks Honorary Crew Member. Don is a big Corvette fan...but, still accepted the chance to be "seen" in the Jaguar Pits

A popular part of the Eaton Cutler-Hammer day is Johnny's visit for Chalk-Talk where he give the "inside" scoop for the race strategy. Another popular moment is the drawings for some great prizes. Here are the Elkhart Lake Winners: (not in order) Dawn Dohr, Jim Stien, Jack Posewitz, Nathan Posewitz, Kevin Fleck, Michael Koch, M. Kopper, Jim Powers, and Warren Starner. Don Miller (not pictured here) was chosen Honorary Crew Member.

Next up in Johnny's brutal pre-race schedule was a visit to the BFGoodrich Drivers Autograph session. Here he poses with Michael Brockly and dad...before the rains hit and dampened the signings.

4 minutes before the race start, the team decided on rain tires. Here is a QUICK change by the crew...The RIGHT CALL!! GOOD JOB GUYS!

The BFGoodrich G-Force T/A radials are good...but not good enough for this much rain. The race was ended at the completion of lap 17.
